What do CGG Customers Say?
Although CGG has mostly positive reviews, the negative feedback should not be ignored. One customer who allegedly purchased 40 Morgan Silver Dollars, failed to receive his order on time. He claimed that CGG didn’t even send him a receipt of payment or any kind of confirmation of his purchase. When he did get his order, he said that the coins were in very poor condition. When he showed his discontent to one of the CGG representative, he refused to work with him. He cautions uninformed investors to be wary about excessive shipping charges and poor product quality.
A few complaints have mentioned CGG’s use of questionable sales tactics. Another customer alleges that CGG did not handle her IRA rollover process correctly. During the rollover process, the customer claims, CGG took $20,000 from her IRA without authorization and invested in the wrong type of coins. One other complaint filed on Business Consumer Alliance stated that the $1 Silver coins which the consumer purchased were severely worn out and damaged.

Capital Gold Group
Summary: CGG is very popular among gold investors and its relatively solid track record places them above average than other gold investment firms. However, Capital Gold has an ambiguous buy back policy which might prove to be a problem for those looking to liquidate their precious metals down the road. As far as precious metals IRAs go, they do offer the service but it’s not their primary focus (their model appears to revolve more around expensive numismatics). CGG is very transparent and their website is very informational, although a little overwhelming.
When compared to its counterparts, CGG ranks among the top. But its additional IRA charges, lack of a digital IRA application and the few but very telling consumer complaints places it second to our most recommended precious metal firm: Regal Assets, Read our Complete Regal Assets Review Here.
Regal has an A+ BBB rating, AAA BCA ratings and 5/5 Trustlink rating based on 600+ reviews. Click here to order Regal’s Free Gold Investing Guide.
